AZ Solar Rescue was built for this exact moment in Arizona's solar industry. With hundreds of solar companies closing their doors and leaving homeowners stranded, we stepped in to do what we've always done — show up, solve the problem, and stand behind our work.
Founded on a contractor's license that's been active since 2002 with zero negative reports, AZ Solar Rescue isn't a startup chasing a trend. It's a company built by people who have spent their careers in solar — and who got tired of watching homeowners get left behind.

AZ Solar Rescue didn't happen overnight. It was 22 years in the making.

Joshua spent his career doing the work — managing solar operations and customer care for other companies, watching homeowners get left behind when installers closed, filed for bankruptcy, or simply walked away. He even managed abandoned customers during a competitor's Chapter 11 reorganization. He knew the gaps. He knew the solutions. And he knew exactly how to fill them.

The roots go back to 2002, when Joshua and his father founded JDN Construction Inc. together. That license — and the values behind it — have never had a negative report in 22 years. Joshua went on to become General Manager at three solar companies, overseeing more than 1,000 solar projects from design and permitting through installation and commissioning. He knows what a well-built solar business looks like. He also knows what a broken one costs homeowners.

What sets Joshua apart isn't just the licenses or the track record — it's the extra mile. He's the one who takes time to walk a widow through her monitoring portal. Who reconnects a system at no charge when a customer switches internet providers. Who reviews not just the equipment but the utility rate schedule, because a solar system sized correctly can still generate a bill if the homeowner doesn't know that running the dryer at 6pm during peak rates is costing them money. Joshua fixes that too.

With a KB-2 General Contractor license, a newly added CR-11 Master Electrical license, and decades of hands-on experience, AZ Solar Rescue launched as the company he always knew Arizona needed.
