Tina has been in solar for 13 years — and it all started with her brother having a bad day.

When he came home worried about having to work alone the next day, Tina didn't hesitate. She quit her job at Exxon that night and showed up. What began as a helping hand turned into a career she's never looked back on. She started in Texas doing whole-home energy efficiency work — radiant barriers, insulation, solar attic fans, weatherstripping, door seals — anything that kept a home cooler and cut energy waste. She moved into solar installations and site audits, building the kind of hands-on systems knowledge that only comes from years of doing the work, not just learning about it.

Today Tina's days are filled with repairs and troubleshooting on systems left behind by companies that no longer exist. She describes her mission simply: bring systems back to life and give homeowners peace of mind that their investment wasn't wasted.

What keeps her going are the faces. The relief. The stress that finally leaves someone's expression when the system comes back online and everything works the way it was supposed to.

Outside of work, Tina is focused on being a role model for her daughter — the same way she was once a lifeline for her brother.

Gustavo brings over eight years of solar experience to AZ Solar Rescue, along with a background in general construction and commercial plumbing that gives him a uniquely practical eye for how systems work together. As the company's license holder, he oversees field operations and ensures every job meets Arizona's electrical code standards — and his own.

Gustavo started in solar in 2017 and hasn't looked back. He starts most days before sunrise with coffee and a drive to the job site — which suits him fine, because one of his favorite things about the work is the view from the roof at first light. What keeps him going is the moment a system comes back to life. Whether it's a new installation powering up for the first time or a downed system restored for a homeowner who'd been waiting months for help, he describes it as almost an act of service for the community.

When he's not on a rooftop, you'll find him somewhere in nature — camping, hiking, fishing, snorkeling, or ideally at the beach. At home, he's dad to two little girls, ages three and four, which he'll tell you is the best job he's ever had.

Tayas has been in solar since 2016 — and she got there because someone who loved her believed she could do it. Her family encouraged her to interview at Titan Solar, she made the transition from landscaping, and from that first day she never looked back.

At AZ Solar Rescue, her focus is simple: make sure every system is performing exactly the way it should. She brings the same standard to every job — honest, high-quality work "to a T." That means going beyond the hardware — walking homeowners through time-of-use rate plans and peak hour management so they actually get full value from their investment long after the job is done.

The moment that keeps her going is the one at the end of the job. The homeowner's face when everything is working perfectly. That's what she shows up for.

When she's not on a job site, Tayas is the proud only parent of three children who are her greatest motivation. She is determined to build a stable future for them — and to show her daughters and her son, by example, that hard work and perseverance can overcome any challenge in any field.

Miki has been in solar for over 12 years — no breaks, no detours, just steady grinding and learning the trade.

He got into it because he's always been hands-on and wanted to build a real skill. The moment he got on a roof and started understanding how solar systems work, it clicked. He never looked back.

At AZ Solar Rescue, Miki handles installs, troubleshooting, and fixing systems that weren't done right the first time. His days start early — organizing the crew, going over the plan, making sure everything moves efficiently. Whether it's a full installation or a repair job, his standard is the same: do it right, do it clean, do it safe. No shortcuts.

The work that sticks with him most is taking a system that's been left incomplete or messed up and turning it into something that actually performs the way it should. Homeowners come in frustrated and stressed. They leave feeling taken care of. That's bigger than the job.

Away from the job, Miki is all about family. Watching his sons play football and his daughter compete in her sport is one of the proudest things in his life. He's competitive, stays active, and brings that same energy to everything he does.

Janeil came to solar seven years ago looking for something different — work that fit around life, not the other way around. After years in event production, with the late nights and long hours that come with it, she was ready for a role that let her be present for her family. Solar gave her that, and she's never looked back.

At AZ Solar Rescue, Janeil works behind the scenes on something every installation depends on but few homeowners ever think about: the permits. She reviews solar plans for accuracy, files permit applications with cities across Arizona, and works directly with city planners and engineers to keep approvals moving as quickly as possible. Before a single panel goes on a roof, Janeil has already done her part to make sure everything is done right and by the book.

What drives her is a genuine love of seeing a project through. With twenty years of customer service experience, she knows what it means to show up for people — and she brings that to every homeowner whose project lands on her desk, from the first plan review to the final permit sign-off.

When she's not navigating city planning departments, Janeil is outdoors — and building what she proudly calls an "awesome rock collection." Anyone who spends their days filing permits needs a good dose of Mother Nature to balance out the bureaucracy.
