When your solar company left, your warranty stayed

Most Arizona homeowners don't know this.

We're going to change that.

The situation

What happened to your solar
company Isn't your problem.
But we can fix it

Over the past few years, dozens of solar installation companies across Arizona have closed their doors — some quietly, some through bankruptcy. When that happens, homeowners lose their labor warranty and their point of contact. Phones go unanswered. Emails bounce. Systems stop performing and nobody comes.

What most homeowners don't realize is that the labor warranty and the equipment warranty are two completely different things. The labor warranty dies with the company. The equipment warranty — issued by the manufacturer — does not.

Your inverter, your panels, your batteries — they may still be fully covered. You just need a licensed contractor who knows how to access that coverage on your behalf.

That's exactly what AZ Solar Rescue does.

How it works

We've done this dozens of times. Here's the step-by-step of what to expect
Step 01

Free Assessment

We visit your property and evaluate your system. We identify the failed or underperforming component and confirm whether it falls under the manufacturer's warranty.

Step 02

We File the Claim

As a licensed contractor, we submit the warranty claim directly to the manufacturer on your behalf. You don't have to navigate the process, make the calls, or know the right contacts. We handle it.

Step 03

Parts Come to Us

The replacement component is shipped directly to the AZ Solar Rescue office. We inspect it, confirm it's correct, and schedule your installation.

Step 04

Installation & Programming

Our technicians install the new component at your home and perform all updated programming. If it's an inverter or monitoring device, we register it to your solar portal so it begins reporting immediately.

Step 05

You're Back Online

Your system is restored to full performance. You've paid for travel time and one to two hours of labor — not a new inverter, not a new battery, not thousands of dollars out of pocket.

What manufacturer warranties usually cover

Every warranty is different, but most major solar equipment warranties cover:

  • Inverter failures — string inverters and micro-inverters typically carry 10–25 year warranties

  • Panel degradation and defects — most panels carry 25-year performance warranties

  • Battery cells and components — coverage varies by brand and model, typically 10 years

  • Monitoring equipment — communication devices and portal connectivity

What's NOT covered by equipment warranties:

  • Labor to diagnose and install (that's what you pay us for)

  • Damage caused by improper installation (we'll tell you honestly if this applies)

  • Physical damage from storms, falling objects, or accidents (homeowners insurance may cover this — and we're an approved vendor)

Solar panel damaged by a storm

Did a storm damage your system?

If your solar system was damaged by weather, falling debris, or a roofing incident, your homeowners insurance may cover the repair or replacement — not just the equipment warranty.

AZ Solar Rescue is an approved homeowners insurance vendor, valley wide. We can assess the damage, document what's needed, and work directly with your insurance claim.
